Created by makeup artist Emma Fortini and an Ayurvedic molecular biologist, 14e was born out of the desire to heal and perfect skin all at the same time. Aloe is the unsung hero of skincare, and luckily 14e has graciously put it in all of their products. Not only is aloe soothing for redness and sunburns, it contains natural salicylic acid which is commonly found in many over the counter acne products. Taking beneficial ingredients one step further, 14e has replaced water with aloe meaning there’s a high concentration of the good stuff! This line is 100% natural and skin healing to boot. It also contains non-nano zinc oxide for SPF protection.
The Aloe Nourish Sheer Tint provides a wash of blurring color with a satin finish. It’s perfect for a hydrating, quick base product to even out skintone and also double as skincare. This applies easily with fingertips, a brush, or a makeup sponge and is SPF 10. This product can be built up for a little more coverage. I really love the formula and coverage of this! It’s incredibly user friendly and perfects the skin without looking like makeup.

The Aloe Nourish Foundation is a medium to full coverage with a satin-matte finish. The foundation sets quickly meaning you need to work fast while applying, but because of the finish, it can forgo setting powder. I personally find the best application method to be with a damp sponge; it slows the drying time just a titch and allows for the smoothest application. Also, a small pointed concealer brush works great for precise application for extra coverage over acne. Using the warmth from fingertips works well if using a patting motion, too. The foundation is SPF 23. Both the Sheer Tint and Foundation feel very hydrating on the skin and wear beautifully all day.

If you’re a fan of liquid blush, the Aloe Nourish Cheek + Lip will be your new favorite! It’s highly pigmented and available in two shades: Sunrise and Sunset. Sunrise is a cool lilac pink that gives a fresh, healthy glow. Sunset is a warm coral that looks like a tropical vacation in a bottle. You only need a tiny dot of these to cover both cheeks and lips! Bonus, the shades blend together beautifully to create a neutral rosy wash of color. You can even use both colors in different places on the cheeks; using Sunset lower and farther out on the cheekbones and Sunrise on the apples of the cheeks for a more sculpted look. If you’ve ever used the Glossier Cloud Paints, these feel and wear very similarly but are made with skin loving ingredients!

I’m a mega fan of this line: it leaves my skin looking and feeling happier with each wear.
