Axiology Lipstick

“Started from a kitchen, now we here.”

                                                                                                                                  -Ericka Rodriguez

Frustrated by the lack of options for clean, vegan lipstick,  founder Ericka Rodriguez took matters into her own hands by creating Axiology. All of the lipsticks are 100% natural, meaning ingredients actually found in nature, 100% vegan (no animal by-products), and completely free of animal testing. What you will find in the ingredients list are things like coconut oil, avocado butter, candellila wax, and my personal favorite – orange oil which gives the lipstick bullet a lovely, uplifting fragrance!

The shade Devotion is a gorgeous rose gold lipstick. It’s not too sheer, not too opaque. It’s just right for daily wear and has a hint of shimmer to elevate your look and make your lips look plump! This color is so easy to wear with a multitude of makeup looks.

Clarity is a rosy red with a slightly shimmery lilac shift. This is opaque; the color payoff actually surprised me when I first applied it since Devotion was a more sheer in comparison. This color wore literally all day through several meals and coffee. It was much lighter at the end of the day, but I never touched it up and it was still very present on my lips. That’s incredible when you consider that it is entirely comprised of natural ingredients!

The great thing about these lipsticks is that they are hydrating even without a balm underneath; the color wears comfortably all day without drying out your lips. I actually manage to forget that I am obsessed with applying lip balm throughout the day when I wear these lipsticks. I also really love the packaging; the tube is a brushed satin gold finish, and the bullet clicks in from the base. It’s soooo satisfying and chic!

Axiology is the epitome of green, luxury and vegan lipstick. You can find it here.
