Clove + Hallow Lip Creme

Ever a fan of Clove + Hallow, I decided to try the Lip Cremes! Although I love the look of a matte lip, I love the feeling of a cream lipstick (or gloss). I decided to try out the shades Creamsicle, an orangey peach shade and Blooming, a bright pink.

Creamsicle has just the right amount of pink to keep it from looking too orange. Let me be very clear, this shade is punchy. If you’re looking for something bright and fun, this is the shade for you! It reminds me of a cross between MAC’s Vegas Volt and Sushi Kiss. For me, this is a great alternative to a red lipstick if I’m looking for something statement making.

Blooming is a pretty petal pink shade, but if you layer it up you can get a hot pink color!

The wear on these are great: they apply smoothly, and I get several hours without needing a touch-up. This formula is also very hydrating because it’s made with a variety of oils and waxes. The packaging has a magnetic cap, so you’re unlikely to have a purse mishap if you toss one in your bag for on the go use.

One of the things I love about Clove + Hallow is their commitment to ‘clean’ ingredients and abiding by what they call the Clean 15 – keeping each formula base limited to 15 ingredients or less! In the Lip Cremes: Sunflower Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Mica, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Carnauba Wax, Candelilla Wax, Jojoba Esters, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Grapefruit oil, Orange Peel Wax, Argan Oil, Vitamin E; May Contain Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Lake Dyes
