Kosås Lipstick review

Calling all lipstick lovers: this post is for you.

I recently got to try 3 Kosås Lipsticks in the shades Rosewater, Stardust, and Fringe.

Before I give a breakdown on the shades themselves, I have to give a rundown on the formula. I have a hard time with my lips feeling overly dry. When I wear matte lipsticks, I have a layer of balm on underneath always. However, with Kosås, they are a more satin finish and creamy enough to wear alone. The formulas contain a large number of butters like mango, shea, and cocoa as well as oils like rosehip and jojoba-all of which are super hydrating. Me likey. They also wear for a considerably long time without getting crumbly or making the dreaded ‘wax line’ where my lips touch. Perfection.

On to the shades themselves!

Rosewater is a light, cool toned pink. I wanted to try it to see how it would look on my warm complexion…sometimes contrast works in my favor. This is a very sweet innocent pink, and would be great for daytime wear. I could swipe this on without a mirror and go.

Stardust is a mid-tone pinky-coral with a lavender undertone. I really love this shade and felt it worked well with my skintone providing just the right pop of color-it really lit up my face!

And last but not least, Fringe. This is a deep, warm brick red and it is to die for. This is a perfect date night shade.

The truth is, I am completely torn which shade is my favorite.I am leaning more towards Stardust and Fringe, but the formula is fantastic on all three and a complete win in my book.
